"I am going to give my honest opinion on Cambria. Hotel is relatively new and I have to say the staff at check in were amazing, staff at the restaurant/cafe were really nice an helpful. It's not a giant ahotel and that is fine by mean. I was in town to run the portland half marathon but my standards are always the same. Cleanliness of the hotel which was great here, the room- the bed was perfect for me. I say this because I have a lower back issue and I can say this bed was better than my bed at home. I love the layout of the room. Nice size, fridge, nice bathroom, and one of the cool features of this hotel was there was an exit on the side of the building so I could walk down the stairs and exit, and enter back in the same door. You have plenty of restuarants and breweries around the neighborhood. Powell's two blocks away as well as Whole Foods, a great coffee spot, Cadejo just a block away. My las two night I did have someone above me walking like an elephant but it's ok. Only thing I would alert people to is this part of the pearl disctrict, there are a lot of homeless around the area, especially walking west of the hotel but that is just a reality in most cities but that is not something to hold against the hotel. Nice place to stay and I cannot say anything negatively regarding my stay."
