"Very clean, great staff. Expedia had a glitch in the virtual card payment for 6 reservations, but Kim at the check in desk handled everyone very well. Breakfast was good. parking was good. The hotel was easy to find and away from the city traffic."

"Beautiful property with fantastic serenity (adult) pool, very nice spa, and lots of restaurant options. The rooms are starting to show signs of wear like my door didn’t totally shut without yanking it closed, the phone didn’t work in my room, etc. I let the team there know and they just said “you can always just call us and let us know” which was a really dumb response to me telling you the phone was broken. Overall, great stay, just needs a little maintenance love."

"We had a great stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Downtown Tuscaloosa! The location was perfect, especially if you’re visiting the University of Alabama. Being just minutes from campus made it incredibly convenient for everything we had planned. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. One of the biggest surprises was how reasonable the prices were for such a great location. It offers excellent value, especially if you’re visiting the university and want to be close to campus without overpaying. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tuscaloosa, whether you’re in town for a campus tour, a football game, or just exploring the area."

"I happened across this hotel via hotels.com during a 40% off special. It was near an event I was attending and had a good rating score, so I reserved a room. As I've stayed in some hotels with high ratings that turned out to be real dumps, I had no idea what to expect. From the outside, this looks like a small, nice enough hotel. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I knew I'd found a hidden gem. The pleasant smell was the first thing I noticed, followed quickly by the charming appearance of the lobby and the breakfast area. The front desk staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered. The cleaning staff were super friendly as well. My room was wonderful - king bed with a living room containing a sofa, coffee table, desk and chair. The hanging bedside lamps were a nice touch. The only negative about the room was the sliding barn-style door on the bathroom, which was an inch or so from the wall and allowed others in the room to see in (and experience any smells). I was staying alone, so this wasn't an issue for me. Overall, I enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep in a excellent hotel. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends."
