The view from the terrace is special overlooking the Moselle river. This area in Germany is a hidden gem. The town itself the hotel is in is beautiful and so is Cochem. Would definitely come again and stay in the same hotel"
"Wir hatten eine wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Gästehaus. Die Zimmer wurden vor kurzer Zeit renoviert und Familie Stein kümmert sich wirklich liebevoll um Ihre Gäste.
Valwig ist ein ruhiges und idyllisches Städtchen mit weniger Trubel als beispielsweise im ca. 3km entfernten Cochem.

"The hotel was wonderful. It was very comfortable and in a quiet location. The check in was contact-less, which was a bit confusing for me, but worked out well. Parking was a bit difficult as there are limited spaces in front of the hotel. There is additional parking down by the river but we did not realize this when first getting there. Once we figured it out it was not an issue. There is a kitchen available but no breakfast on site. You just have to bring your own food and cook for yourself. We...

"Great location. Very beautiful and comfortable. Offered discount for parking and had a place to store our bicycles overnight. The room was spacious and had good amenities. It is old so the floors squeaked in some places. The rainfall shower head was leaky and in need of replacement, but did not interfere with showering. Best of all was a small fridge and a fan. Would highly recommend!"
"Das Hotel ist neu. Aussen noch nicht so gut angeschrieben. Aber mit der Adresse findet man es gut.
Wir waren 3 Erwachsene im Zimmer.
Da aus dem Sofa ein Bett gemacht wurde, hatten wir nur noch eine Sitzgelegenheit. Ein zusätzlicher Stuhl wäre gut gewesen. Hätten wir aber sicher bekommen, wenn wir danach gefragt hätten.
Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Obwohl das Restaurant schon schloss, bekamen wir noch einen wirklich tollen Salatteller zum Begrüßungswein serviert.
Unser Zimmer war nur über mehrere Stiegen zu erreichen, nicht schlimm, sollte man aber ggfs wissen und entsprechend bei der Buchung nach einem Erdgeschosszimmer fragen.
Unsere Sonderwünsche bei der Buchung wurden berücksichtigt und prompt bestätigt."
