Quiet restful and pleasant views

We needed a place away from the tourist throngs of Ubud. Samara ticked all the boxes for us. Places to eat nearby and an excellent massage in the village 500 metres down the hill with good food

My room had views of rice paddy fields and has a rural outlook. Rooms are cleaned and beds made everyday. Good breakfast options. The staff are friendly and will help arrange transport to go into town or go on a private tour with own driver. Short walk into town with many dining options.

The Samara is one of the most beautiful places that I have stayed. The views of the rice fields are so amazing and the pool is so clean and lovely. The staff are just beautiful, so accommodating, so helpful and so friendly! It’s about a 10min walk to get there from the Main Street but if you need the staff can drop you off and pick you up from the scooters. The room is cleaned daily, the breakfast is included and there is afternoon tea provided between 4-5pm. I will be looking forward to staying here again one day.

Did not realise we had to get motorbikes in and out haha. This ended up being pretty fun and we only stayed for a short stay so didn’t have much luggage. The staff were so friendly and the experience was fun

The position itself was beautiful, away from the busy Main Street. The staff were very accommodating in ferrying us to and from the Main Street on bikes. The villa was lovely but basic in amenities and a bit worn, ie mould on pool edges and borer eaten furniture. The two bedroom villa has an external staircase to upstairs which was tricky in the rain. We were disappointed that there was no restaurant or bar as advertised as were far from restaurants and they only offered Italian food delivery. Lovely position but not worth the $300 a night cost for these oversights.

ウブドの中心からかなり奥まったところにあり、道は徒歩かバイクでなければ通ることが出来ないところです。事前に口コミでチェックしましたが王宮まで徒歩7-8分どころの距離では無くまた途中高低差がかなりあります。 でも、バイクで送迎をしていただけることを利用すれば王宮近くまで3-4分ほどで着きます。 周辺は田んぼでとても静か、プールは小さいけどどの部屋からも近くて便利、朝食も美味しく頂きました。 このホテルのような仕様の所には以前何度も泊まったことが有り、バリ島仕様なのかと思え特別なところは無いと思いますが、ウブドの田んぼの雰囲気と静けさを味わいたい方、バイクの後ろに乗ることに抵抗が無い方にはお薦めします。

Excelente ambiente a un precio bajo.

El hotel es muy tranquilo, paisajes verdes, el personal muy servicial, su atención es increíble, , buenos desayunos, limpio, te ayudan alquilar la moto la cual es muy necesaria para tu desplazamiento , así que vía WhatsApp mejor avisar que tengan lista tu moto al llegar, porque esta muy bien ubicado, pero hay que caminar y hay una subida, por eso es mejor tener la moto y así estas super cerca del Palacio y sector comercial, ellos te recogen en un parqueadero que te envían la ubicación y suben tus maletas, también te las bajan, ya que donde esta el hotel solo puedes subir en Moto o caminando , los carros no pueden llegar, pero así hay muchos sectores en Ubud.

部屋は清潔で快適

こちらの都合上、一泊のみの滞在。 レセプション、スタッフは皆親切だしフレンドリー。部屋も非常に清潔。 部屋タイプによるだろうけれど、自分の部屋は窓から何も見えず、美しい田に囲まれたウブドに滞在する大きなメリットがなかったのは残念。

Interesting stay at The Samara, Ubud

Suggest you get firmer mattresses for the rooms. It was nice waking up to see much greenery. It was for me, an almost death-defying ride on the motor bike through the narrow paths each time! They go really fast! We didn't know that that was the only way to get to your hotel. Suggest the hotel install container boxes at the back of the motorbikes for their staff to hold the luggage of their guests. This is to ensure their safety and will provide guests the assurance that their luggage will not fall off the bike during transportation. We totally enjoyed the serenity and beautiful surroundings, it is back to nature for us. My daughter like the quietness. It was overall a memorable stay for the three of us.

Siamo stati 5 giorni presso questa bellissima struttura. Il personale sempre gentile e disponibile,così come Stefano,il proprietario italiano e la sua simpatica e dolce moglie(che cogliamo l’occasione di salutare).colazione ottima. struttura fuori dal centro,si necessita obbligatoriamente di uno scooter,che viene noleggiato ad un prezzo leggermente più alto,per gli standard del posto. Ma vi consente di vivere fuori dal caos e di vedere un panorama bellissimo!! Non l’unica cosa che avrei effettivamente migliorato sono le chiusure degli infissi,sia della porta di camera che del vetro che separa il bagno dalla doccia all’aperto. Sono male registrati e quindi consentono di lasciare passare insetti o peggio gecho,che io purtroppo odio.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist Mitten in den Reisfeldern und doch sehr Zental mit dem Roller in 2 Minuten erreichbar und wer nicht selber fahren möchte kann sich durch den Bring- und Abholservice jeder Zeit in die Zentrale Innenstadt fahren lassen. Der Service im Hotel war ausgezeichnet, das Zimmer wurde zwei mal Täglich gereinigt, es wurden sogar die Vorhänge abends zugezogen. Das Personal sowie alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben uns bei allen Anliegen die wir hatte super geholfen, von Internet fürs Handy bis zum Rollerverleih. Von den 5 Hotels die wir auf Bali hatten war das Samara eines der Besten, wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.
