one of the best resort EVER. they think ahead to all your needs, they cleane the room every day you can literally eat on the floor, the service is amazing and the structure is like new even if the resort is 10 years old. the really care about maintenance and put so much effort, the holiday was a dream. we stayed for 6 nights in a villa and laundry was for example inclusive. A BLESSING! we will for sure return soon!

I can’t say enough good things about Mandapa. We have travelled all over the world and stayed in world class hotels, and this is amongst the best of them. The service, cuisine, accommodation, and setting were the true epitome of luxury. Our rice terrace villa was absolutely sublime. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to disconnect and experience the interior of Bali.

This was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Everything from the beautiful environment to the attentive staff (particularly our amazing personal butler Kewin) to the amazing tours (especially our waterfall tour guide Gus De and our rafting guide whose name we unfortunately can’t remember…it began with M!) to the unique experiences they crafted for us, this was a truly luxury travel experience. Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is, without question, the best hotel I have ever experienced in terms of natural beauty, setting, and design. The property blends seamlessly into its lush Balinese surroundings while offering refined, modern Western luxury. Every detail—from the architecture to the decor—feels intentional, serene, and deeply connected to nature. The service is absolutely top-notch. The entire staff is a true joy to be around: warm, attentive, genuinely happy, and always willing to help. Each guest is assigned a personal butler, which elevates the experience even further. Our butler, Agung, was exceptional—thoughtful, proactive, and incredibly kind—making our stay effortless and memorable. This was my second time staying at Mandapa, and it certainly will not be my last. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my family and friends. You truly do not need to leave the property to have a perfect vacation. Mandapa offers everything on-site: immersive nature experiences, a beautiful temple, rice fields, outstanding restaurants and bars, a world-class spa, a fully equipped gym, and endless opportunities to relax and reconnect. It is the kind of destination where the vacation is simply being there.

Wow!!! We are lost for words at how much we fell in love with this place from the view, rooms, pools, spa, food in each restaurant and mostly the staff. It was truly memorable for us and we've already decided we will come back next year with our family. Tapsir our private butler was beyond incredible and went above and beyond to look after our needs. My partner smashed his phone in the gym. Tapsir took it away, had it fixed and back within a day. Thank you so much and you have stolen our hearts for our rerun and Bali. To everyone we encountered on our stay, you all made it truly the best honeymoon

This resort is a 7 star property and in my opinion a must stay property in Ubud. It's all about the service and how they make you feel. It all starts with a warm welcome with your butler , the manager , and rest of the welcome team. Everything was perfect! Our patih, Louis, made sure of it. We had a wonderful full day excursion, where Gudse took us to many unique places you would never find yourself. After day 1, the team at Sawah Terrace knew my order before i placed it. Warning: you will be spoilt! One of our favorite activities was the Connect to reconnect, Dinar and Pragynaan were so knowledgeable , when we did the BalineseHerbal Healing. The only other properties I find comparable are the Royal Mansour and Udaivillas.

Excellent new resort

An unforgettable experience and fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything was so well thought out and nothing was too much to ask the staff for. The rooms are huge and beautiful. Lot's of small freebies enhanced the stay and the team is incredibly service minded without being intrusive. One of the best places I stayed at!
