We come for a night to spend the weekend skiing. The staff is amazing, they are kind and helpful. Breakfast is perfect for a boost of energy before skiing, and they are constantly refilling on everything (despite very hungry skiers). Rooms are clean and comfortable for the night. We will continue to come.

Very convince place to stay , you can eat next to the inn , no need to drive , there McDonald’s and other restaurants, only 4 minutes drive to the Donner Park . You can play snow there with young kids, the bathrooms in the park is very clean . The inn has 3 floors ,we can see beautiful view through our room window , the room is very warm , strong heat system. Bathroom in our room is clean.

The room was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms which was helpful. Breakfast was sufficient for being grab and go and the staff was all very helpful and kind.

It was decent for the amount of money we paid. Room was spacious, parking was very convenient. The hotel is very close to McDonald and a convenient store. The Staff were very kind and helpful. The only downside is they don’t have an elevator. And they had not a single thing in the vending machines.

Place is OK. Stayed here twice for skiing. Beds are comfortable but that's where it ends. The acoustics are horrible. Can hear everything from the hallway like kids getting up and running around at 6am. The heater is on the loud side. Staff is friendly enough. Included Breakfast is gross microwaved gas station food. No seriously. That's what it is. You have to microwave it yourself.

The room and carpet were dark and dingy but the room itself was clean. They did have a good selection of breakfast goodies and the location was great. Close to stores, restaurants and campgrounds. This was a last minute booking for me so I was just happy to find a room under $300 in peak season. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. I'm not into fancy or boujee hotels, so when i give this place 5 stars, i'm not talking about a $1000 a night gold plated Hilton hotel room. I'm going to be using the room to sleep in, and chill after a day of adventuring. This hotel checks all the boxes for that. Good location right off the 80 in west Truckee. Easy parking. Comfy beds. Mini fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast with muffins, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches or burritos. Some fruit, coffee, cocoa. Staff is cool af. There are some good food options in walking distance. Safeway, old Truckee, and such are a few minute drive. For what i'm after, this is a great hotel.

They allowed pets for a $40 per night charge. The rooms were comfortable, did the job. It is about 30 mins away from Lake Tahoe, but the surrounding area is beautiful. Easy to trek along the Truckee river.
