Book this charming, two-story condo for your upcoming adventure in Northern California! This vacation rental features an expanded entry with a heated, slate floor and a beautifully updated kitchen. The living room has comfortable furnishings, or step outside to enjoy your morning coffee and take in the forest view from your covered patio.

You'll have access to all that Northstar has to offer. Enjoy quick access to popular outdoor activities like skiing, mountain biking, swimming, and tennis. The Northstar ski resort is a mile away, making this the perfect destination in the winter! A quick drive will take you to downtown Truckee where you can check out the local shops and restaurants.

Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We really enjoyed our stay! We could walk to the main NorthStar plaza but it still felt very private and had a beautiful view. The place was clean and well decorated and stocked.

Beautiful condo and great for our family trip. Kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook at home. TV and WiFi and games, bathrooms fully stocked. We didn’t try the fireplace but we were cozy anyway. View was gorgeous, even better when it snowed. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Roomy Condo in a Nice Location

Pretty good

Our trip was on the 3rd week of March and there was snow but melting. The forrested view outside the back patio slider is really nice. The unit was well cleaned and the kitchen is nicely appointment. The unit comes with parking passes for the lot out in front which was basically empty during our stay. Additionally there are two passes for the fitness club. I've been to the club before which has a pool and gym many years ago. It used to be free, but my understanding is that it is now $10 a person. If I had known about these club passes I would of brought my swim suit. On to the areas of improvement. The main one was the heat. There are two thermostats in the unit. The lower thermostat controls the heat in the house. The upper thermostat does not do anything besides tell you the temperature. Despite having the heat in the 70 range during our stay the heat never reached beyond 65/66 degrees at either the lower or upper thermostat. While it's doable to make it work we were always cold and never really comfortable. It wasn't great hearing my kids and elderly mom complain about the heating situation and spending hours texts vacasa about the issue just to finally settle on "we will deal with it". The TV remote was dead so I had to shuffle the batteries over from other remotes in the house. I was unable to light the gas fireplace which would of helped to keep us warmer. The bunk bed is very wiggly/unstable rendering it somewhat unusable. Even with issues we will return! Thank you

Great condo and location

Beautiful condo. Really great location. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms were very nice. Giant couch and fireplace were perfect for us. Only issue was there were no instructions for what to do when leaving the condo and no dishwasher soap. But overall it was a perfect place

Cozy stay

This cozy condo had everything we needed. A fully stocked kitchen made it possible for us to cook meals after a long day on the ski hill. The cozy fire made it warm and relaxing. We absolutely loved the shuttle from the condo to Northstar Village.

Summer review - Overall Good

Overall experience was good. It is not done through a direct home owner but with a third party agency called Vasaca. I had a few reservations when I realized we would not be working with a direct person however I was pleased to learn that the customer service number and emails were pretty responsive and they even let us check in early. A few things to note - the condo can get pretty hot being that there is no air conditioning. They did provide us with a few extra fans however please note that if anyone stays on the top bunk during the summer months it is likely to get hot as heat rises and the fans do not reach. Also the cleanliness overall wasn’t bad however there were some spider webs we noticed in the corners and the upstairs shower looks nicer in photos than it actually is (There was mold on the corners and floor of the shower). One thing that I think would’ve been a nice addition are some beach towels. We flew in from the east coast so it would’ve saved us some extra space in our carry on if there were beach towels provided or beach chairs. Overall it was a smooth and painless process. The house comes fully equipt with kitchen gadgets including a rice cooker and air fryer. It’s a little less than an hour from Reno airport (45min without traffic) and it’s about 30min from Incline Village and Sand Harbor. We had a great experience!

Clean & Quiet

Very clean condo in a quiet cul de sac. We stayed with our two adult daughters and was nice for us to have rooms on different levels. Family room has a big comfy couch and kitchen is stocked with plenty of plates, cups, glasses, silverware and very large coffee mugs! Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Getaway Spot

I booked this condo to get out of town for a little bit and reset. This place was perfect! I was able to work remotely comfortably which was key. The location at Northstar was great, and it being off season there was no one here. It was nice and quiet. My friend and i were able to relax and the close proximity to both Truckee and Kings Beach meant we had plenty of places to eat at or visit. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, coffee pot etc. the fridge is nice and spacious. The only negatives I’d say were that i think fitting 7 adults in here would be tight. I think four adults would be max for comfort. The beds were also very firm and my back was not happy about that. So i wouldn’t say I’m leaving rested. The couch on the other hand is comfortable to sleep on. Lastly, there is no filtered water. It would have been nice if there was a Brita filter or something for drinking water. Overall i would 100% recommend this location and I’ll definitely be back.

Well equipped condo

The description of the unit was accurate and information provided was prompt. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances (rice cooker, air fryer, slow cooker), pots/pans, dishes, etc. I would recommend this unit for a nice stay
