Well, despite being told not to go because a) 'there isn't anything out there' and b) 'you shouldn't trust anyone in the area', I encourage you to head there and sleep there for one night.
Why?
Because of the green hills and red earth that surround this village, vilified in 'Taken' and 'Taken 2', which could serve as an excellent base camp for some hiking, plus the Kosovo border crossing is very close - if you're heading there.
P.S. People are still very friendly, as is the case in the whole of Albania.
