The location is excellent, just across a small bridge to the old town. We had a room with a view of the harbor and riva. We were able to leave our bags when we arrived early. The staff and especially, the manager, were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed an excellent breakfast. However, the bags were crowded into the tiny lobby space while waiting for the rooms at 3pm and the rooms are up several flights of stairs.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect and it was nice to have a cooked breakfast in the morning. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided (not all European hotels provide them). The bed was comfortable. We appreciated having a couch in our room and a chair for sitting. You can hear noise outside, but we sleep with white noise and it didn’t bother us at all. We loved walking to Old Town for dinner and to just enjoy the atmosphere. My recommendation - the hotel will schedule your shuttle if requested, but just take an Uber. You can also walk to the bus station. We did all 3 and the shuttle over charges a lot. We paid $30 for a shuttle ride that cost us $7 to uber. We spend over $100 on shuttle/taxi services because a taxi driver told us Uber drivers were on strike. A local told us to use Uber and it worked perfectly.

The first problem was the rude staff when I tried to check- in a bit early… my only transportation had left me off in Trogir a few hours early; the reception staff reluctantly agreed to hold my luggage but warned me there was no chance of getting into my room early. They were blatantly rude when I asked for an idea of where a sporting goods store might be in the tourist area (cruise ship Mecca) of town where there are many shops. They looked at me like I was crazy and said there was no place to buy a soccer jersey for my grandson… I had three hours to kill and walked across the bridge from the hotel and wandered into a wonderful sport T-shirt shop. Bought a great gift but felt annoyed at the hotel staff and considered looking for a different hotel- as the lobby had been gloomy, hot and unwelcoming. But it was too late… At 3pm I returned, and my room was ready on the fifth floor- but there is no elevator; the reception man begrudgingly brought my heavy suitcase upstairs, warning that I should expect a lot of street noise that night from the nearby “disco”- but letting me know there was nothing he could do about it. In my room at last, ready for a shower… but oops, no shower- just a handheld in the bathtub. And the smell of air freshener was making me gag! That fragrance pumped into the room all night long, and I didn’t sleep at all as the air conditioner was quite efficient but there were only sheets on the bet and no blanket in the room. Not recommended!

Lovely small hotel a short walk from old town of Trogir. Room was spacious and clean. Pillows were quite firm. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of items available. I gave this hotel only 4 stars because they supplied only a thin sheet on the bed for a cover at night. No duvet or blanket in the room. Perhaps you could get one if you asked before going to bed, but we did not think of that at the time. The other hotels we stayed at in Croatia all had a summer weight duvet. This hotel may want to consider leaving a blanket in the spacious closet for their guests to use if they need it. We had the AC at 25C (77F) and were still cold with only the provided sheet. The street outside (we were at the front, nice view but lots of traffic) was too noisy to turn AC off and open the window (unless you are a very sound sleeper). Keep in mind when booking that there is no guest elevator. Our room was on the third floor. If you have difficulty with stairs you should make a point of requesting a lower floor.

Great Hotel

We were only there for one night but wish we would have stayed longer. We had a top floor room which was large and had beautiful views. The service was great, the rooms were clean, and location is very convenient.

Overall nice stay

Staff was very nice. AC was out but hotel provided a portable unit. Some electrical outlets not working but overall the room was fine. Excellent location. Nice breakfast and convenient bar.

Had a wonderful stay. Staff was very helpful & friendly. My room was clean & spacious. I thought it might be loud because it is right on a busy road with restaurants & bars, but I closed the windows & it was quiet. The host Hrvoje is great! My first night it was chilly & had asked for a blanket. He went above & beyond to track one down & kindly put it on my bed. They serve a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this place.

Hotel staff were very nice and facilities too. The street in front of the hotel is very noisy day and night. Air conditioning in our room didn’t work so we had to leave the window open and live with the noise. There was a drunk group of Germans that banged on our door at 1:30am and again at 6:30 am but that was no fault of the hotel staff - just annoying. Parking is nearly impossible in the ateeet in front of the hotel so you need to be very patient and lucky to find a spot. It was a great location by day to see the sites of Trogir though so that is a plus.

The hotel was okay--there was no elevator but the front desk guy helped us with the bags. When we arrived, it was so hot that we took a shower before heading out. By the time we got back, the bathroom smelled of backed up sewage. We ended up keeping the bathroom door closed but it was a bit of a challenge when we had to go back in to use the restroom and take a shower again. The staff is very nice--we were not sure if the bathroom issue was just our room or if it was the whole building. Probably won't book again.
