Things To Note:
-This rural cabin features the coveted feel of being off-the-grid while having all the luxuries and amenities of actually being on the grid. and
-Private parking for 2 cars in driveway
-Security camera details: For added security, there are exterior cameras in place due to the remoteness of the cabin
-There will be a separate rental agreement sent to your email for signature before receiving your check in info.
-Two wood stoves (wood provided)
-Two radiant space heaters
-Baseboard heater near queen bed windows (keep things dry)
-On two acres of private land, private meadow with picnic table and adirondack chairs
-Macdonald Creek flows in to Stone Lagoon, a breathtaking local watershed. (Fishing in the Creek is illegal).
-Visitors often see Elk, Black Bears, Foxes, Skunks, a wild variety of bird, banana slugs, squirrels, chipmunks, egrets, great blue heron, osprey, eagles, hawks
-Sadly we cannot schedule reservations for Elk viewings as their booking agent was last seen spotted in a meadow feasting on native grasses and rubbing his antlers in brush to prep his halloween costume.
-From the cabin to the sands of dry lagoon beach is 1.5 miles
-Eureka/Arcata Airport - Fly in TO ACV (25 minutes from the cabin)
-The BBQ will no longer be available to prevent attracting bears to the front porch.
-No dishwasher, thanks for understanding!
-Internet access in rural areas can occasionally be spotty, during times of inclement weather. Please bring your own hotspot if you require internet for important work and meetings.
