Great hotel in the center of Trieste. Close to Piazza Unita D’Italia as well as the Grand Canal. On great shopping street and lots of great restaurants nearby. Hotel offers reasonably priced car valet car service.

Great location and beautiful rooms, we started in the serviced apartment side or hotel, staff very helpful, one negative would be the AC wasn’t sufficient for the time of year and something that needs to be looked at for comfort at night

Spacious suites with furnished kitchen and even a washer. Very well situated and central to everything. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent service and many delicioso options for breakfast. No problems encountered during our stay. Very accommodating with luggage storage. Will definitely return.

2 days in Trieste

The room I stayed was just like in the pictures. I had the studio and it was spacious, equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, expresso machine great balcony, and clean. The staff was willing to assist with anything that was needed post check-in and did so in a timely manner. I would recommend this hotel. Location is great and close to bus/train station.

Great suite, but....

Our suite was very roomy, extremely well supplied and the hotel is in a excellent location. The only issue is the confusion on check in, which is not at the Palace Suite but at the Continentale Hotel nearby. That hotel is very nice, has an excellent lounge and restaurant and would be the better choice for short stay visitors to Trieste.

It was an easy walk from the cruise ship port as well as to the train station (located about half way between them). There is an elevator and the room was spacious and clean. The building is lovely. You have to check in at the sister property, Hotel Continentale, around the corner to get the key. It’s in a great location to walk around the city and explore. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place

The apartment was so spacious! The upstairs of the family suite had its own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen area was spacious and had what we needed for late night snacks and drinks. The check in is at a hotel in a separate building but it wasn’t much trouble. However, I highly recommend valet parking. Street parking in all of Trieste is a total nightmare

The suite was very spacious. However, the air conditioners were not adequate despite having all the units on maximum coldness. The upstair bedroom was hot. Staff was very nice and location was excellent. We walked from the cruise port. There are lots of shopping, cafes and restaurants in the area.

Check-in was a bit difficult (we had to find out that we needed to go to another hotel close by), but the room was great. A la carte breakfast has its pros and cons for sure, but the food and breakfast area is nice. Parking around is possible, but not easy. Better arrive with public transport.

What an incredibly impressive historic building (1907) with updated, modern interiors. Units A and B are across the street from the Continentale Hotel, while units C and D are just around the corner. Staff at the hotel are wonderful, and breakfast is included. Daily housekeeping for the suites. The Palace Suites are incredibly quiet.

Nice spacious Suite in an historic building. Everything has been redone and it is quite comfortable. There's a nice couch and a small kitchen. The bathroom shower was a bit funky- it had all kinds of heads but nothing but the handheld would ever work.

You must go to the Hotel Continentale to check in. This wasn’t clear, fortunately we stumbled on a guest being escorted to the Palace and figured it out. The Palace Suite is secured and you need your room and entry door key. The call boxes do not work. We were serenaded by some rowdy sports fans at 1am. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a good choice.

This was a very spacious suite with nice location. There should have been paper towels in kitchen and we were fortunate to have a washing machine but no dryer. It was very dark in the rooms. Need more lighting. I had a hard time seeing things in suitcase. Overall a good value for amount of space.

Lots of positives including an excellent location, friendly staff and great space for families. The room is nothing fancy but clean and efficient. Check in was difficult as we actually had to check in the hotel next door and get a key, but there were no clear instructions and it took a while to figure that out. Note you are staying in apartment like building and have to walk to the hotel which is near by though. Some of our family members were staying at a different hotel for a cheaper price near by and their room and hotel were significantly better. Anyways Trieste is charming city and this is a solid overall hotel but there may be other options worth exploring.
