"The staff was very helpful and very pleasant. After 2 days of being there found out fridge did not work. We told the lobby staff and by end of day it was fixed. Bathroom appears dirty from wear and tear. Needs updating all around. Breakfast was very good. Location great."

"Location is the key word here. The front porch and the breakfast are excellent. The rooms are a little old but this is a historic hotel and is expected. Glenda is always the best. I have been staying here for over 50 years and it’s like home away from home."
