"What a lovely property with lovely hosts. Made us feel welcome and relaxed. Breakfast is just great! "The hotel was good but the surrounding area is very run down with lots of begging in the streets. The facade of the hotel is not as depicted. The palms shown in the advertising are no longer there. "So where do I start!! Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th birthday for the weekend. As soon as we arrived at the property we were greeted by John and Julie a lovely couple who run the hotel. They immediately ask if we wanted a drink, as was given a lovely tea and slice of homemade lemon cake which was perfect after our long drive. "Really beautiful place with a lovely warm welcome from the hosts. Attention to detail, comfortable bed and room in general with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great location 5 minutes walk from Torre railway station and 15 minutes walk from seafront and town. Easy drive to local towns like Brixham, Dawlish, Teignmouth and about 45 mins to Plymouth. I'd stay here again definitely. "

"Vince and Erwan have created a stylish and relaxing place to stay, within easy reach of Torquay town centre.
