"We’ve enjoyed staying at this hotel in the past, but this visit had a few challenges. When we arrived, our room was 86 degrees. Maintenance responded promptly, and the staff was friendly and genuinely believed the issue had been resolved. Unfortunately, when we returned from dinner, the room was still uncomfortably hot. The front desk was able to move us to another room, which we appreciated. However, the new room was on the fifth floor and the elevator was out of service, making for quite a climb. Thankfully, we’re still in good shape and decided to look at it as an extra workout. One thing we really enjoyed was being able to get an access code from the front desk to use the gym next door. There’s also a nice little coffee bar connected to the hotel where we purchased breakfast sandwiches, which was a convenient bonus. Belvada is a beautiful historic hotel with a lot of charm, and we truly hope they can work out some of these issues. At this point, we’re not sure whether we’ll stay here again or return to the Mizpah across the street."
