10/10 This was the best experience and my favorite hotel in Japan. The room was beautiful and the staff made it extra special for my birthday. It’s just 20 minutes from Haneda airport and let’s be real, a floating hotel is a must try experience! There’s only 4 options and each room is different. You won’t regret adding this hotel to your Japan itinerary.

This was my favorite stay in Japan! Beautiful, peaceful property with exceptional staff and service. I injured myself and was using crutches when I visited, and the staff was so kind and accommodating - they made us dinner reservations, brought us breakfast, and allowed me a bit of extra time for checkout since I was moving slowly. I'd definitely return!

We stayed here in our last night in Japan as a bit of a celebration - if it’s in your budget, I’d suggest planning a stay of several days to really take advantage of this amazing hotel. The rooms are beautiful- and the bed was amazing after many nights with Japanese mattress firmness (both my husband and I loved the bed - he prefers firm, I prefer soft). We had unit 3, and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was wonderful (we just popped down to the bakery that is located next to the hotel office and brought it back). The manager/owner was outstanding - very helpful as we looked at options for dinner (including calling for reservations) and helping us flag down and load up our Uber. He also worked with AirPorter to accept our bags a day before our check in so that we could take a small bag for a 1-night excursion to Hiroshima. And stored our bags while we ran some errands on our last morning. This truly is a hidden gem - I hope that I will have a chance to stay there in the future.

Simply stunning. This was our favourite place to stay during our three weeks in Japan. We stayed in some incredible accommodation but Petals, by far, was the best. We loved the location, coming back to a serene area on the waterfront, away from the bustle of central Tokyo, but conveniently close to public transport; the JR Yamanote line and monorail to and from Haneda airport. The staff are lovely and helpful - shout out to Tomoko and the rest of the team. They organised for me a birthday cake from the nearby bakery, which is a must visit for fresh croissants and pastries. We stayed in Petal 1 which has wonderful panoramic views of the canal. Amenities on the houseboat was first rate. Nespresso machine, denom speakers, large TV with free Netflix, Aesop products in the bathroom. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

My husband and I could not rave enough about Petals Tokyo. The staff AMAZING and so attentive. The room exquisite. Great breakfast spot around the corner that we ate every day for the entire stay at Petals. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament but if we’re ever back in Tokyo we will be sure to stay here again. Very close to the monorail that got everywhere that we needed to go. Keep in mind you will be staying in a houseboat and boats travel frequently by the hotel so your room will slightly sway as the boats go by.

I stayed here for the final night of my trip, and it was by far the coolest room I stayed in. Sometimes the room rocks a bit from a passing boat, but that is the nature of water and everything else about the room more than makes up for it. Tomo was amazingly helpful when I was checking in, and the breakfast in the morning was good! It also had the coolest shower I have ever seen in the room, a bit circle of glass thing. Amazing stuff.

Tompkins and Mina were exceptionally responsive. The hotel is a wonderful retreat in Tokyo. One does have to be okay with the occasional rocking as the fishing boats head out but it is definitely worth it.

Pedals goes above and beyond what you see in the pictures. Everything about this place is exceptional! The craftsmanship and quality is seen and felt throughout the property. Great location on the water in walking distance to restaurants, museums, parks, and to day cruises. I would recommend the cruise club, it's only a short walk from Pedals. The service is second to none! San was are host and I can't say enough about the quality of service she provided, Thank you, San. It was nice to get a break from the city and relax while experiencing something truly unique. The location is perfect
