"Great location, near everything. Unit is equipped with everything you need, coffee, mugs, glasses. Not many condiments for coffee. There was some difficulty with the key pad to the unit. There is a bit of a method to entering the code on the key pad. This should be communicated with guests."

"Very unique, spacious, and full of character. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a place to stay on their getaway. The GPS takes you to the side of the building though. The actual entry door is located around the block. If you show up at night the stairway that leads up to the room is quite dark and it is difficult locating all of the switches to turn the lights on. The venue could also use to have a full length mirror. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!"

"Great Location, walkable to downtown bars and restaurants. 10-12 min drive to the Field of Dreams Movie site. Beds were comfortable, plenty of seating areas and large kitchen. Jon was great to communicate with. If I get to make this trip again, I’ll definitely check this house out again."

Timberside - A Getaway for the Whole Group

"We just wrapped up a weeklong stay at Timberside and we could not have asked for a better host and property. We came with our youth travel baseball team and Timberside was more than we could have hoped for. The bunk room accommodated our players and the other rooms were perfect for the coaches. The kids had an amazing time exploring the property’s ponds and trails, playing wiffle ball in their off time, and ending the days with a friendly (yet competitive) game of basketball on the basketball court. The kitchen, great room / family room and wrap around deck that’s perfect for the parents to come over every evening for cookouts. We felt like we were at our home away from home. Next time we are in Dyersville, there’s no question where we will stay. Is this Heaven? No, its Timberside!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is incredibly spacious, offers fantastic activities, and features an excellent location. If you are planning a trip to Backbone State Park, this home is perfect, as it is just a short drive from the park entrance.However, we did notice a few details regarding the sleeping arrangements:Master Bedroom: The mattress is comfortable but the frame is quite squeaky. A single quiet sleeper will be fine, but multiple people may find their sleep disrupted by the noise.Downstairs Bedrooms: These mattresses are best suited for children, as our adult guests found them less comfortable.Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this location to future travelers."
