"This is a century old building. Deco is like Victoria style with colourful wallpaper everywhere. Room is high and bathroom amenities good. Just because of it’s too old, there is a kind of damp smell in the room and hallway. But price is good value so we won’t expect too much for it."

"Overall I enjoyed my stay and the hotel appeared to be well maintained. Check-in was pleasant with a nice gentleman (apologies I didn’t get your name) and staff were friendly and helpful. The location to surrounding amenities is great. Cleaning was not terrible but would be excellent if a detailed check was completed. I experienced some hair left behind on the restroom floor and a stain that should’ve been caught. I travel prepared to do an extra cleaning pass before using the bathroom so it wasn’t a major turn off. Outside of that I would rate my stay 5 stars. Helpful/Transparent note: there is homeless activity in the area but I was not uncomfortable as it pretty much stayed a street/block over. I would stay here again."
