"Alex Villa N5 was a great place to stay has everything you need and more, to be honest it felt more like a fully furnished one bedroom apartment. Staff were helpful and attentive. The private plunge pool is a little small and no area to sun bathe but the beach is down the road and another pool on rooftop with plenty of chairs.
Location is okay short grab ride will get you everywhere you need in Canguu.

"Positives were the location, the openness of the hotel and the restaurant which was lovely.
The negatives for me were the hot water didn’t work in my suite and on asking was not able to be fixed and I wasn’t able to be moved which was frustrating as this required cold water showers for my whole trip.
I know Bali is known for having bad water but the tap water here had a considerable smell that didn’t experience anywhere else on my Bali stays.
The room was also an issue as the sliding doors...
