"Stayed in one of the junior bungalows with the stone clad internal walls and marble floor. It was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was a simple affair, omelette, cakes , bread . Coffee variable . Normally breakfast served in outside but covered area but on one particularly wet morning it was served in the upstairs restaurant which looked like it could have done with a good clean . Staff friendly and proactive Good location a few kms out of town . Nice cycling routes nearby"

"Out of everywhere we stayed during our two-week trip around Vietnam, Happy Tam Coc Ecolodge was hands down the best. "Beautiful serene accomodation middle of mountains and rice paddies. Can’t be better than this. Bed was very comfortable and quiet. Room had all the amenities required for the stay. Shower was nice and hot. Swimming pool was amazingly clean and big to soak long day at Ninh Binh. Breakfast was so delicious and just enough of options. We accidentally broke the shower gel container at the room and costs 150,000 VND. But the lovely lady at the reception waived it for us. She even spoke to the grab...
