"Would not recommend. Not a five star stay. Coastal setting is beautiful but this is all the hotel has to offer. The front desk staff was not helpful - we asked for help finding a place to watch the World Cup France match and have dinner and they guided us to a restaurant we had to walk to that was closed. Mold in room, garbage in bathroom broken, and phone fell off the wall into toilet."

"A really stunning place. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. We had intended to visit other areas but ended up staying in the grounds of the hotel/ club as they are so good - two beautiful pools and a lovely beach. The cafe by the lower pool serves a great choice of food at lunchtime and we had really good food in the main restaurant overlooking the top pool in the evenings. The breakfast was also really good."

"This hotel is excellent. The only reason I am not giving it an excellent review is because there was nobody at the reception to welcome us or to check us in. We waited 20 minutes in the middle of the night (because of international delays from the US). Then I had to scramble to find the hotel phone number to get a hold of someone. I even walked around and opened doors around the reception area. I think the person who was supposed to be there was probably sleeping in a back room or...

"Excellent hotel in a high demand area. Was very impressed with the hotel’s standards, cleanliness, amenities and modernisation. The location is brilliant and is in short walking distance to most of Cannes hottest spots, as well as the train station. The staff were very helpful and friendly, at both reception and the cleaning staff. Not a bad word to say about our stay and would love to stay again on our next visit. Thank you to all at Hotel Cristal!"
