"Everything about our stay was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb with so much to choose from, we ate in the restaurant on the Saturday night and the food was of good quality and the service was excellent . The rooms were designed well and had everything we needed. Love the extras (shortbread biscuits,Kitkats,and bottles of water) tea and coffee. Plenty of parking offered. Overall our stay was relaxed and very enjoyable. Thank you to all the staff."

"This was a perfect country retreat and antidote to busy, crowded Oxford. The room was clean and spacious, with everything we needed. This is not a walk to the city - you will need a car or you will need to become very friendly with the excellent local bus system, but the exchange is an absolute charmer of a real traditional country inn and pub. My only complaint is that the morning coffee set-up was coffee in a bag, which was tasteless and gritty. A little Nespresso machine would go a long way for those of us who need a good cuppa first thing!"

"Stunning place to stay, in the shadow of the old church that's much older than Salisury Cathedral, near where we stayed last. The kitchen was first rate and modern, the bed comfortable and we loved the shower that didn't need to be enclosed in glass! View from the bedroom window was lovely. We also enjoyed the patio with flowers blooming where we had a nice glass of wine before dinner."

"We stumbled onto the Artist’s Residence, and fell in love with it. There room s are so cozy and so artfully designed and decorated. The staff was wonderful. They helped in any way they could. The pub is from another era, a wonderful era. The food is great. The other customers were friendly and interesting. Next time we are anywhere near the area, we’re going to be staying there."

"The hut was very clean and comfortable and suited the four of us perfectly. We also appreciated the fact that there were only two other huts in the field and there was space between them. Despite arriving quite late our hostess met us and made sure everything was ok. The swimming pond is a wonderful bonus and we would definitely return. Thank you!"
