We booked a room knowing we'd only be in town for the evening. We were looking for something to do before attending a friends retirement ceremony in Indianapolis the following morning.
To begin with, the parking available on a Thursday evening was fantastic and safe! The grounds were very clean and well cared for. The lobby is spacious and there were 3 front desk clerks available to complete check-in for guests, so no wait time. The only "bad" thing I noticed during check-in was the gentleman who assisted us had long-ish nails, which isn't a problem. I was grossed out by the fact that he had dirt under all of his long-ish nails. We were quickly checked in and were very pleased with the room and accommodations. Surprisingly, we were placed next to a room of folks who were obviously not getting up early the next day, as they partied well into the night. We returned to our room around 11:30PM after a few hours of gambling to listen to the neighbors for a couple of hours. It finally ended with a man and woman screaming obscenities at one another around 1:30-2AM. We both slept well in the comfortable bed, great pillows and linens. My only other item that prevents me from providing 5 stars, was the water pressure. The temperature was fantastic, didn't wait for the HOT water! But, the water pressure was insufficient and disappointing. When shampooing and conditioning long hair, the lack of water pressure prolonged the process.
