"The staff was very kind, professional, friendly, and accommodating. Right out of a Tuscan rom-com, the hotel has a beautiful entry and garden and is in a gorgeous Tuscan setting. Ask for the room with the patio. It was great for morning coffee. The town of Castel del Piano was lively with locals in the piazza and shop keepers sweeping to make clean and welcoming store fronts."

"Nous avons logé dans un très grand appartement de 3 chambres, deux salles de bain, grand salon et cuisinette. Il était splendide avec son plafond cathédrale, et d’une propreté irréprochable. Nous avons profité de la jolie petite piscine sur le toit, avec une vue 360 sur la Toscane, vignobles et cyprès à l’appui. Nous avons profité de la dégustation de vins avec le charmant Aldo, qui a été plus que généreux avec notre famille. Un séjour inoubliable, gros merci!"

"A beautiful hotel, located centrally within Piancastagnaio. The hotel is very relaxing and tastefully converted convent with a stunning pool overlooking the valley. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and we loved our spacious room overlooking the gardens. Service is okay, it cannot be criticised, but lacked warmth at every level. Ignored by many staff and we would have expected a little more. Once again food was good (we ate dinner and had breakfast each morning) but not spectacular and...
