Olive Lane – A True Waiheke Bach

"Overall we had a nice stay and found the bach very handy to public transport. We did however find the back separate unit extremely cold and damp so we were forced to sleep in the main house on the couches, near a warm fire. The outside unit may be better in summer when warmth at night is not a factor. We found the communication was very good and the host excellent at providing answers promptly. Ngā mihi for hosting us!"

"The check-in and check-out process was super easy (we were allowed to do late check-in!). The apartment was super clean, spacious and ideal for longer stays since it has a kitchen equipped with all the needed supplies. They even gave us milk for coffee/tea. The location is amazing since is it a 2min walk to the beach and close to the bus stop to travel to wineries on the island. Highly recommend!"

"We finished our 2 week journey through NZ at Wavesong. It was perfection! The unit sits above the beach just a short bit giving way to sweeping ocean views from the living area and the bedroom. It’s bright, fresh and clean and well equipped. Morning coffee on the deck was a wonderful way to start our days in Onetangi. Our hosts, Robyn and Leighton, were very communicative as we arrived and couldn’t have been more generous in sharing their local knowledge. Wavesong is a slice of paradise we were so lucky to enjoy. Thank you for everything!"

"Yes we loved staying here. Great views, location and access to the beach/restaurants was fantastic. My friend from England had the best birthday ever. None of us wanted to leave!! Can I suggest a couple of things. Hedges around the pathways leading up to back deck could be trimmed, shower hose needs mending in main bathroom and spider webs all along balcony railing to be removed. Nothing major though.
