Tathra Beach Shack/Character & Magic Views

Tathra Beach Shack is one of Tathra's original cottages and is located on the southern headland overlooking Tathra beach. The cottage oozes character with original timber floorboards throughout the living area and original fireplace to keep you snug at night.

Two of the three bedrooms have queen beds and have views directly over the beach. The third bedroom has two single beds. The main bedroom is a large expansive room with ensuit and TV.

The cottage has a wonderful sundeck connecting to the living room that oozes sunshine and looks directly over the beach with a BBQ.

Surrounded by bush it offers plenty of privacy and boasts uninterrupted views over the beach making it the ideal location for a holiday by the sea.

Tathra Area/Things to do

Tathra is spoiled with National Parks and reserves, beautiful beaches, pristine estuaries and rivers. Pick your water sport - river and deep sea fishing, kayaking, surfing or simply chill out on the beautiful Tathra beach which is a short stroll down the steps from the house.

The National parks offer safe swimming lagoons, picnic areas and bushwalking tracks to cater for all levels of fitness. Relax and enjoy a coffee at the Tathra Wharf cafe - the wharf is one of the only heritage listed shipping wharves on the Eastern Coast of Australia. For your evenings entertainment there are a number of good restaurants in the area and why not finish the evening off with some live music and drinks in the local Tathra Hotel. If you are there on a Friday you might even win the crab races !!!!

Amenities/Shops

A very short stroll down the steps to the beach, shops and Bowling Club. Very short stroll up the hill to the Hotel, supermarket, Post Office, and Newsagent.

Merimbula with an airport is only 25 minutes away with cinema and plenty of shops to get your retail therapy!!
