"An amazing, unique place to stay. It’s so remote and the views are incredible! The condors really do fly straight past the property - you wouldn’t even need to leave! Access can be tricky but very manageable - we booked a public bus from Arequipa to cabanaaconde and you have to tell the driver where you want to get off. The staff at La Granja came to pick us up from here. We booked through La Granja for a smaller minibus back to Arequipa which involved a few stops at viewpoints on the way home....

"The worst “hotel” imaginable. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. No wifi (i mean who needs wifi). I was told to be ready at 6 am sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat....
