Alternatively, you can take a short drive down to Kings Beach and use the FREE park-and-ride service to reach popular destinations like Olympic Valley and Northstar California Resort. With both Hwy 28 and Hwy 267 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to the stunning surrounding areas around Tahoe City. Northstar California Resort is just a 9-minute drive away via Hwy 267. Continue on this highway to reach the historic mountain town of Truckee, or stop for a hike at Brockway Summit, one of the trailheads for the famous Tahoe Rim Trail, offering breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
BBQ is only available during fall/summer months due to Tahoe fire regulations. All BBQs must be on a non-flammable surface and not have anything overhanging it. The BBQ will be on an installed metal surface on the rear deck during months where there is no snow accumulation.
There is an electric bear fence to deter bears from entering the property. Instructions located in the house manual.
No garage access sorry.
