"Rooms are clean Staff was amazing Parked up close Surprised there was a Pendleton dog bed with bowls and treats. The grounds were well kept."

"We enjoyed our stay at Poplar River Condos. The location was excellent with restaurants and hiking trails nearby. The premises are well maintained. The Guest Suite condo we rented faced Lake Superior with great views and trails down to the lake. The suite was smaller but featured a comfy king size bed, a gas fireplace, 2 chairs and a tiny kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave, a sink and a 2 foot countertop with a coffee maker. There wasn’t room for the few snacks we brought so we had to leave them in grocery bags. I’m talking a box of crackers, a bag of chips, beef jerky, granola bars, bananas. There was a nice balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The bathroom included a jetted tub that needed attention paid to the grout. It was clean, but not so appealing."

"Very quiet resort right on highway 61. Great view of Lk Superior right from the motel room. Enjoyed the firepit. The room was extremely musty, which bothered me a lot - my hair reeked of it. But it was clean, with a newer bathroom. Water was very hard - not recommended to drink. Unique historical perspective and convenient for skiers & hikers."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient, right off the highway, but still felt quiet and peaceful. You can hear the waves of Lake Superior at night, which was actually pretty relaxing and made for a great way to fall asleep. The balconies were a nice touch, with outdoor furniture where you could sit and enjoy the sunrise over the lake. Overall, a comfortable, peaceful place to stay with a beautiful view and a convenient location."

"Our weeklong stay with our 3 generation family was excellent. Communication was great. Checkin was easy. The place was absolutely beautiful. Exactly as shown in pics. Every bedroom had a view of Lake Superior. Everyone had their own space. The place was extremely well-equipped, so nobody had to haul a lot of extra equipment for young kids. The back yard was perfect for family gatherings around the fire with s'mores - and also for yard games. The deck overlooked the lake and was more than big enough that we grilled and ate many of our meals as a family out there. The walk down by the lake was short and relatively easy with the huge rocks along the shore. We even found a fairly protected cove that people could wade into to cool off. And the location was just a short drive from so many things - including unbelievable parks, hiking trails, waterfalls, winery and golf course. Would definitely recommend this for a stay and would definitely book again for a similar family trip!"
'Reflections' Cabin on Lake Superior - Near Lutsen

"We had a wonderful stay at the Reflections cabin. The views were off the charts! The cabin is right on the water, there’s a huge deck and a wall of glass to take in the scenery.Amenities were good with two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Plenty of seating and the fireplace was a nice bonus.The location was great for exploring up and down the north shore. We drove up to the Canadian border one day to Grand Portage. Lovely drive and park."
