Very affordable, but not worth steep discount when compared to other accommodations nearby. The dormitory/apartment setting is very noisy as the rooms are not adequately insulated, and the property is in disrepair. One of the rooms I reserved had an inoperable toilet, and the shower head was disconnected from the hose. If you are a backpacker on a strict budget and are used to hostel-type accommodations this may be tolerable, especially if you plan to spend most of your time off property. But something much more accommodating (with secure entry, included breakfast, working amenities) in downtown Tacloban will only cost you 1000 PHP / 15 USD more per night.

Comfortable place with good service

It felt like a new place. Clean and with most amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast were tasty and the bed comfortable. Good location close to the Metro center and Jollibee, which is open 24/7. We enjoyed our stay.

I like the fact that it had and living space around your hotel room. That is shared but you rarely see any of the other guests. Plus there’s smoking designated areas. That’s a plus.

Staff and customer service was excellent. One call away and they’re very attentive to your needs. But the property needs some updating like the linens are too old and there was a distinct smell that is coming from bathrooms and too much ants. You cannot leave food outside or it will be devoured by ants even inside the little refrigerator.

Average condotel near the Metro Supermarket.

One unit has common entrance and area with 3 separate rooms where one of those is my room at the 3rd and top floor. No elevator. Small room with separate both/toilet/sink and bedroom. Noisy AC and lacked cleaning as barely cold temp. Room with electric kettle and very small bed table. 32" TV but was busted and non operational. I got the room with breakfast which is a plated breakfast and adequate. Staff at front desk were friendly though and helpful and checkin and out was fast. Location was good as just across the big Metro Supermarket. Location was a plus. WiFi is okay. Doubtful if I will be back.

Simply avoid

No toilet tissue & no pillow cases should have been an omen… the staff was helpful and promptly brought toilet tissue, had to wait almost 2 hours after check in time for pillowcases WITH HOLES IN THEM ! Termite damage everywhere, rotting & de-laminating cabinetry This place is screaming for a makeover ! Air conditioner that barely kept it cool and banged every 30 minutes= no sleep Management that is not informed about the condition or doesn’t care ! Do yourself a favor, AVOID THIS PLACE

The property was undergoing maintenance and painting to a few of the rooms which will be nice. We rented a 1 bedroom and a 3 bedroom suite. The 3 bedroom suite was very nice as each bedroom had its own private bathroom and key card access which is great for privacy and security. It had a spacious living area and dining room but, it did not have a refrigerator or air conditioner, only the bedrooms have a/c. The 1 bedroom unit was nice with a separate dining area equipped with a refrigerator but, no air conditioner. The separate bedroom did have an air conditioner but, it kept making loud noises at night and the bathroom had a foul odor coming from the drain vents in the floor. The staff was great and very helpful with arranging a private driver for us to go sightseeing. The breakfast was very good and cooked to order. There is a small shopping center across the street with a grocery store and a several restaurants including Jollibee, KFC and Dunkin Donuts. I would stay here again because of the helpful staff and service and hopefully the minor issues with the rooms can be resolved.
