Overall the hotel was amazing I have zero complaints it was over the direct Xmas period so Sydney as a whole in the city was dead but the hotel had the kitchen open and a bar downstairs. The room whilst small (as I knew coming in) was clean and well laid out. Location was also very good (100m to light rail and 200m to Martin place and Circular Quay). Overall can't fault the hotel.

We had a nice stay at the Rydges, staff was very courteous and helpful. Check in was very good, needed some help explaining how everything worked with the key card including the lights and thermostat. Room was very clean, they are small compared to what we see in the U.S..

Clean, great location, staff very helpful. Room was ready at 8am, there was an upcharge of A$30, but it was well worth being able to get settled into the room early in the day. I believe there was an additional charge for the breakfast but it was ample and very convenient as there did not appear to be other options nearby. They were having trouble with their elevators creating long waits at times and a stressful situation (3 elevators for clients - one out of service until a new part arrives, one with loud scraping noises, one fully functional).
