"This was a return visit to Golden Haven, and it's a great go-to choice. Rooms are spacious, clean, and the property is in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to town. Nice extras behind the property: ping-pong table, bocce ball, cornhole, and bicycles. The office staff is always friendly. I'd suggest water bottles in the room as Napa water (not just at this facility) is not the best tasting, but there is a water filtration station near the office. Look forward to our next visit. "Our stay at Casa Loma was spectacular and the ideal setting for our family gathering (six adults, four small children). Located on a stunning hilltop, the home offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views that made every moment feel special.The house was impeccably clean and perfectly appointed. It was incredibly adaptable for all ages, with comfortable, welcoming furnishings that created warm family evenings. We especially loved the oversized dining table for group meals and the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. A huge plus: every large comfy bedroom has its own en-suite, making the stay seamless for everyone.Despite the secluded "away from it all" feel, the property is very accessible for Instacart and Uber Eats. The drive into downtown Calistoga and St. Helena wineries was quick and easy. Even on a rainy day, the jacuzzi was at the perfect temperature for us to enjoy.A wonderful surprise was the private, well-marked hiking trail starting right at the house. We all took advantage of it, from 1–2 mile walks with the kiddos to 4–8 mile treks for the adults. Working with the host, Pierre, was a pleasure—he was extremely kind and responsive! Casa Loma far exceeded our expectations; we will definitely be back!"
