Welcome to The Narrows! Our two story, unique Summerland Beach Home! If you`re looking for a cozy, unique and breathtaking experience, then you`ve found the right place! Situated a few blocks up from downtown Summerland, our home is the perfect place for friends and family to relax, unwind and enjoy an incredible weekend. Ocean views, multiple outdoor patios, a jacuzzi, fully stocked kitchen, arcade games, TV`s and more are right at your fingertips, with the ocean, shipping and more close by!

THE DRIFTWOOD DIFFERENCE
As you enter any of Driftwood Properties` locations, you`ll be greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine from Fess Parker Winery along with 2-1 wine tasting cards, exclusive access to local discounts at a variety of locations, and free workouts at CycleBar Santa Barbara if anyone is looking for a little health & wellness treat! Upon booking you`ll receive full access to the Driftwood Club, an exclusive guest only experience featuring local discounts, free amenities and more!

We are partnered with local in-home massage therapists, facial experts and private chefs for anyone looking to enhance their vacation during their stay!

Home is the top two floors.
Home is narrow, please review layout upon your arrival.
Pet rules - keep off furniture, must use restroom outside and do not leave alone in the home. Violation of these rules or damages may result in a fee.

Home Description - Parking directly out front. Home is on the 2nd and 3rd floor, to enter you will need to go up a set of stairs on the right-hand side. Bottom floor of home - Kitchen, two living rooms (one in front and one in back), dining room, 2 bathrooms, bunk room, trundle bed. Top floor - 2 larger bedrooms with a King and Queen bed, along with an outdoor patio area with ocean views.

Property Manager (Aidan) Available 8am - 8pm daily

Please be aware there are lower tenants at this home and that quiet hours begin at 9pm each night.

*Please be aware this home may not be suitable for elderly. There are steps to enter and narrow steps to the second floor.

Beds were comfortable upstairs, the others not so much. Bathrooms were clean. Overall generally clean. Microwave sounds like it is ready to die. Dryer wouldn’t dry clothes because it wouldn’t heat. Screen doors fell off the sliding doors and couldn’t be replaced. No way to open doors and windows for cool air to sleep, so the place was hot and hard to sleep. No air conditioning. Poor to no lighting to get into the facility at night. Very dangerous and difficult steps inside to get to the second floor. Wall outlet behind the couch was falling out of the wall exposing wires, and creating a potential fire hazard. If this were the first VRBO experience we’d never stay in one again. The host was friendly, responded quickly via email, but nothing was fixed. Someone is not checking this inside or managing it, whether it is the management company or the owner. Not sure. And chemical smell in the upstairs bathroom. Had requested no chemical smells due to allergens.

A Quirky Spot in a Great Location

"The Narrows" describes the property - narrow! The home is the 2nd and 3rd floors of a duplex, with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths along with kitchen laundry and outside deck on 1st (2nd) floor and two bedrooms with 1 bath on the 2nd (3rd) floor. At time of renting, the description didn't specify the house layout. The 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor are the desirable rooms to stay in, but they share a bathroom which we didn't realize. The bedroom in the front of the property is much nicer as it has an outside deck with a view of the ocean and a king sized bed. The 2nd bedroom in the back is a queen with a sliding door that opens up to a screened in back deck, which we didn't use as we found it a bit dank and dirty. We had issues with water taking forever to get hot in that top floor bathroom. We let the owner know and he was very responsive but we opted not to have him come over to fix it during our stay. The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor - one is a room with a bunk bed and the other a single bed frame with a trundle bed. Both rooms are rather dark and featureless - really only meant for sleeping. Kitchen was well equipped - we made a large breakfast one morning we were there and found everything we needed. Overall - not a luxurious experience as we just found the property to be a bit tired and not well maintained - sliding doors sticking/off their hinges, dust and grit on most outside surfaces, broken bed frame (we fixed) but certainly adequate for the wedding we attended nearby.

So Good!!!!

Summerland is an absolute gem and this property did not disappoint!!! Tons of room, amazing ocean views, and walkable to shops and restaurants. The sunrise and sunset walks around the neighborhood were amazing. We’ll book again!
