"Breakfast a bit mediocre but always piping hot. Evening meals wee excellent. Very well cooked and executed perfectly. Rooms are adequate but a bit small. Bathrooms clean and shower powerful and hot. Bed was comfortable. Loved the ability to help yourself to treats."

"Very comfortable and well-appointed cottage, super-clean and with everything needed for a short stay. Felt like a home-from-home for us, and lovely to watch the cows in the next-door field! We would highly recommend to anyone, and two good pubs within walking distance as well, plus just a short drive into Sheffield or out onto the Peaks for fab walking."

"The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were spotless, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was a nit haphazard. Tables were not available and there was no check in so you had to find your own way. The staff were very friendly and tried their best but they were somewhat overwhelmed. Also, there was a power outage on my second morning so no TV or power sockets were available but overall, it was a nice stay."
