cheap because it’s a bit terrible

Dark. Old. Hot water didn’t work Parking garage was not secure and scarily dark Room lights not working properly and we were given the wrong type of room Looks like it last got redecorates in the 1980s. Not for families. Not that cheap either so probably worth finding a better place to stay

Kleines, aber feines Hotel in Stuttgart-Stammheim. Gute Erreichbarkeit, sehr freundliches Personal und unkompliziertes Einchecken auch spät abends. Toll war, dass es gekühlte Getränke im Foyer gab, die man dann am nächsten Tag zahlen konnte. Tolles Frühstück. Alles in allem ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Wir hatten zwei Einzel- und ein Doppelzimmer. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig, die Atmosphäre war familiär. Auch wenn die Einrichtung nicht auf dem neuesten Stand ist, das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist jedoch ausgezeichnet. Ich kann das Hotel Freihof wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

ottima posizione vicino alla fermata della metropolitana u15, peccato che nel nostro soggiorno si fermava dopo due fermate ed imponeva uno stressante gioco dell'oca, ma colpa della municipalità che oltretutto scrive solo in tedesco.

感想

スタッフが親切でできることは何でも対応してくれる 部屋に備え付けの椅子がかなり硬く長時間座るのはきついが、あとは問題なく過ごしやすかった。 ホテルの近くにはスーパー、イタ飯、バーなど食事しやすかった。

Das Hotel passt mit dem Bewertungen der anderen Gäste überein. Es ist ein einfaches Hotel, aber mit allen was man so braucht um ein Wochenende dort zu Übernachten. Allerdings sollte man ein nicht allzu großes Auto haben, den das Parkhaus ist doch schon sehr eng und klein. MfG T.R.

We were surprised at how far away from Stuttgart this property was but transit connections are quick and simple. People at this hotel are very friendly and accommodating.

Other, better options..

I arrived on Saturday, early afternoon. I rang nd rang, noone inside. No instructions. I pushed the intercom, waited on an English Speaker, and I was told they were CLOSED ON WEEKENDS. I reminded them this wasn't known, nor was I told, nor did Orbitz know. We argued about options, then five minutes later the owner showed up and gave me a key and signed me in. Room was incredibly small and I have traveled a LOT. Relatively clean. Apparently overbooked, I had two separate folks knock on my door and ask to change rooms as I had a double bed...? Worst part was the noise. There are tables outside where local, loud drunks hang out from 0630 until around 0400. Almost 24-7. As for me, I would not stay again if it were free. My pals had a room at the Holiday Inn, for just a few Euros more, and were pretty much in luxury.....and quiet.......................very disappointing....made it both nights, but even "hungover sleep" was interrupted before the sun came up, and I can sleep through almost ANYTHING.

Einfaches, aber sauberes Stadthotel, nett!

Das ist natürlich nicht das Ritz, aber für eine Übernachtung bei diesem Preis ist es eine positive Überraschung! ZImmer wie auch Bad groß genug. Beachtlich ist das Frühstück: selbstgemachter Obstsalat, Tomaten mit Mozzarella, Balsamico. Toast, Joghurt und verschiedene frische Brotsorten, etc. das bekommt man in einigen sog. kostengünstigen Hotelketten eben nicht.

Sehr schlechtes Hotel

Ein sehr schlechtes Hotel! Mit sehr schlechen Pesonal, die sich um nichts gekümmert hat... nie wieder! Im allgemeinen würde ich es niemanden empfehlen... Die Zimmer waren sehr staubig und das Bad war allgemein zu schmutzig...Wir würden beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Stuttgart lieber mehr bezahlen, dafür auch etwas besseres bekommen.

booked this hotel because of it's proximity to the Porsche Museum (it's a 20 minute walk) but the area itself has nothing going for it. it was Sunday and the only place that seemed to be open was the café beside the hotel so we had a quick coffee there and went in search of a restaurant. the nearby hotel had a sign up that their restaurant was for hotel guests only so we were really starting to panic. Later on that evening we found an Italian restaurant at the very end of the village which was fine but they didn't do dessert and started to turn off the lights to close at 9! there's no bar in the hotel (it really is very basic) but a cooler with beers in at reception which you can help yourself to and just write on a sheet of paper what you took. We were glad we were only staying 1 night (the staff were extremely helpful however-just the location and lack of amenities would prevent us staying here again)

Sconsigliato a chi cerca un hotel...non lo è!

Non è un hotel vero e proprio, sembra più un dormitorio per studenti. Arrivando la domenica pomeriggio la proprietaria non è presente e il solo modo di contattarla senza spendere per la chiamata è un campanello vicino al portone che avvia una chiamata al cellulare della signora. Che potrebbe anche andar bene se non fosse che la signora parla solo tedesco quindi anche il sapere l'inglese è vano per chiedere informazioni di come poter fare per entrare in camera. La nostra fortuna è che la seconda volta che siamo passati (considerato che la prima volta la signora ha pensato bene di buttare giù la chiamata), abbiamo trovato dei signori che hanno parlato con lei al citofono. La chiave della camera è nella cassetta a meccanismo elettronico con un codice numerico che deve fornire la signora...ma in tedesco. Insomma sconsigliato a chi non sa il tedesco e comunque non si può paragonare ad un hotel. Molto meglio spendere anche 10€ in più e andare altrove

Excellent location not in hub of city

We were very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. We drove through the central part of Stuttgart and were so happy we did not stay there. The room was very clean and the breakfast was way above expectations. The owner was so lovely and accommodating. It is close to the Porsche museum which is what we wanted. We would DEFINITELY stay there again

ホスピタリティ？？ ドイツに慣れ親しんだ方なら問題なし？

シュトゥットガルトへの週末旅行の際に、こちらの宿を利用しました。 レジデンシャルエリアにありますが、地下の無料駐車場が利用でき、市街地へのアクセスも悪くありません。建物や室礼にやや古さは感じます(ところどころ、設備・備品に要修理部分が見受けられましたが、致命的なレベルではなかったと思います)が、清掃はきちんとされている感じでした。部屋の広さも十分です。シャワーの排水も良好です。室内がやや寒かったですが。 しかし、何が困ったかといえば、フロントデスクの営業時間がかなり限定されていること。予約サイトには「毎日7:00〜21:00営業」となっていましたが、実際は、週末は午前中(8:00-)のみの営業です。ホテルに着くと、ドアは施錠されており、人の気配もなく、どれがインターフォンかもわかりにくく、「このまま今日は車中泊か」と焦りました。中に入り、鍵(棚の上に無造作に置かれていた)を見つけ、wifiに接続するまで、結局、何度も電話する必要がありました。また、ホテルの方は、簡単なやり取りは英語で話してくださいますが、途中でドイツ語に切り替わってしまったりしたので、ドイツ語力か想像力が必要になるかと思います。 道路や交通機関U線に面した立地なので、アクセスは便利ですが、通り側の部屋だと就寝時の騒音が気になる方もいらっしゃると思います。また、客室内の警報機がとても敏感なのか、どうもシャワーの湯気(換気扇全開にも関わらず)にも反応しているようで、入浴中および入浴後しばらくは、ピッピッピッと強い音が鳴り続け、参りました(問い合わせしようにも、スタッフも不在…)。 最近、ドイツ語圏ではこういった割り切った効率的経営の宿もポツポツあるような気もするので、ドイツの習慣・風習・言語に慣れ親しんだ方なら問題なく過ごせるかもしれません。が、そうでない方にはあまりお勧めできません。
