"It’s a nice looking hotel. However, extremely long line and wait time for check-in. There was only one line and it went from one end of the hotel all the way to the front entrance. Terrible customer service and staff didn’t accommodate for stay. I wasn’t expecting to arrive and have to wait 2+ hours for a room I made advanced reservations for. I can be patient, but I don’t have that much patience to be camping out in the lobby. Now, I understood the busyness due to the holiday season, but they need to incorporate a better logistics system in order to improve the guest experiences. Just hire me as the operations manager because I actually care about efficiency 3/10 for the stay, 10/10 for my potential to fix it lol"

"I stayed for three nights, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is New York. The hotel staff where all very friendly, the property is clean and well maintained, and the location is great. The hotel is close to all the Theaters, transportation and many sites. I would definitely stay again."

"The hotel is in the perfect location! For that reason alone we would stay again. However there was only one working elevator for all 26 floors and that was horrible. It took so long to get up for down (we were on floor 16 so couldn’t even do the stairs). If that’s fixed, this is the perfect hotel for a NYC trip! Steps away from the subway, Central Park and Times Square! So many places like Starbucks, Premier Deli, Dunkin and endless gift shops around the property. We stayed with our kids and it was such a great area to be with them. "

"The floor lamp was broken and the lock for the window was loose. Clean and friendly staff. "

"Breakfast was fresh and they had some different items to choose from. Room smelled clean when you walked in. Staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. Parking is a little confusing at first. When you get there you have to pull in front of the garage door next to the front door and then go in to pay for parking. There are only a certain amount of spots so it’s first come but once you pay your parking is secure until you check out. Gated parking in back. Short walking distance to the train and a 10 min uphill walk to the subway. If I ever need a place to stay in the Bronx again, I will choose highbridge."

"Wonderful staff. Room was clean and New-York sized, plain but comfortable and clean. Wish there was coffee service that didn’t require wait lines at the (excellent) French bakery cafe on the first floor. "

"I did not have Bfst. My room was very noisy, there was a fan going outside my window in the roof and the fridge was over heating. Alos this is not a safe location at all to stay. "

"I am literally shocked at other people's positive reviews. I booked this place because it had decent reviews but it was absolutely terrible. No dead bolt on door, the latch on door was not very secure, we pushed the refrigerator against door for more security. Black mold in shower, strong cigarette smoke stench that didn't go away, Heater/AC broke, room got very hot and unbearable. When I asked for assistance the attendant came to our room restarted, it blew cool air for 15 min then the heat kicked on making the room so hot. I advised them again when we left for the day and it was not fixed. We got to hotel at 1:30pm, I could see on the back wall with "clean" rooms ready for check-in, when I asked to check in early he asked for 50.00 extra dollars and pulled from the clean rooms. We had to leave for an event so I wound up paying the 50.00 to put our stuff in the room. There was available parking but they don't take your license plate and then I got double parked in. I had to leave early on Sunday where I had paid for a parking spot near Yankee Stadium and there was a car in front of me and they were no help. I couldn't get out, so I left my car for the day. I would not recommend this hotel probably the worst I've ever stayed at."
