We were in a bedroom (within a house) which also had a bathroom and small kitchen attached. Everything was supplied, including small touches like books, games, fresh juice and brownie slices. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hostess was lovely. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a stay

A fabulous B & B surrounded by beautiful gardens in the heart of Strathalbyn. Joy and Chris are very welcoming and provide comfortable, exceptionally clean guest facilities of a high standard. Lovely linen, towels and toiletries are provided together with ample breakfast provisions, fruit and even chocolate brownies. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay @ Hamilton House Quiet street, lovely room with ensuite and use of the lounge area. Breakfast was great and the brownies were a lovely touch. Definitely recommend for future stays.

Such a lovely stay! The property had all we could need and was immensely cosy. Breakfast provisions were very generous, finally somewhere that leaves enough milk in the fridge for more than 2 cups of coffee. And the brownies were very lovely, despite my allergy stopping me from having more than 1 bite. I absolutely recommend a stay at Hamilton House. Fabulous property.

Stepping back in time!

My husband and I had a wonderful time a during our stay at Hamilton House It was very a calming, charming and comfortable place to stay! I am very much in love with “old” buildings; the decor in the house was spectacular , the gardens and the house was well maintained! It felt like you were “stepping back in time”! It was “just” beautiful!

Gem B&B close to city center

A beautiful little bed and breakfast in a Jane Austen like setting. We had the lady Jane room, a large room with plenty of space, private bath and a small pantry. Room has everything you could ask for and then some. Breakfast was prepared and readily available in the fridge and cupboards and we handled everything ourselves. We had breakfast in the extraordinary garden, what a gem of a place that was! Room did not have individual Aircon, but it was cool and nice so apparently they controlled that centrally. Our host Joy lived up to her name, she was super friendly and informative. The place is within walking distance from all places in the city.

Loved the homely touches with the beautiful crockery and furniture around the house. Close to the town centre. Mattress was a little firm for our liking and extra milk for the continental breakfast would have been nice. Otherwise a lovely place to stay!

I loved the way the space was set up, the furnishings, the country charm, the little touches, in art work, and general amenities. It was an easy space to unwind and relax in and to feel nurtured and comfortable. It was warm and cosy. I appreciated the bath, the fire and all the little touches of care around the place, as well as accessibility to great walks, food and the general charm of this town.
