"Previously stylish hotel perhaps somewhere on the owners' list of overdue renovations. It's OK but not outstanding, scruffy and some public areas requiring better cleaning. Breakfast was functional but not IMO as good a perk as other reviewers report. 3 days stays get no room cleaning, you have to request clean towels. Staff are helpful and cheerful. Railway station opposite."

"The Hylitt Hotel is nice, in a good area and the room we stayed in was modern and spacious. However the Wifi was patchy and not very good and due to a lack of guests the bar was not open for 3 nights of our 4 night stay which was a shame. However when the bar was open it was nice serving good drinks and with friendly bar staff. Overall would say it is a lovely hotel but just needs some adjustment on its wifi services. "Very noisy during the change ....I mean very noisy...Doors constantly slamming....Staff and customers constantly slamming the doors ."

"I hope it was just me. Reception was one of the worst. Room, beds, pillows look worn and sad. Worst was the non functioning AC. Reception was unhelpful so I decided to pack up and move to a better hotel."
