"People in neighboring room were smoking in non-smoking room, and for hours smoke was filtering into my room. Front desk didn't answer several calls, finally answered, and said neighbors are long-term stay guests, as if they have preference over my stay. No manager on site at night. No action. "

"Absolutely fabulous stay at Rock House Retreat!!! The house is beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean. The outdoor space with hot tub was the perfect place to gather and relax. The location was in a lovely quiet neighborhood and convenient to town, stores and restaurants. We couldn't ask for a more accommodating host. Stephanie has provided everything needed in her home plus was always available. Our family truly appreciated her assistance and our stay. We will definitely return."

"Our stay here this past weekend was perfect for catching up with family and being able to relax and enjoy our time together. The house was very clean and the extra touches made it so convenient: the coffee, tea, dish soap, toiletries…all the things you get at a hotel and more! You can tell the owner takes pride in this home! It was also a plus to be within walking distance to the downtown restaurants and bars! "

"Hotel was run down, you can tell it was remodeled a little while ago however it has not been well maintained since. It was basically not very clean. The elevators were dirty and not vacuumed or wiped down. The hallways were dusty and not cleaned well. I was working from the room so did not have the staff come in and clean for the first 3 days. When I left to go to a meeting I saw them cleaning down the hall so I asked them to come in and clean. I had towels ON THE FLOOR in the bathroom. They DID NOT change them, hung them back on the towel rack-disgusting. I also had taken a pillow case off because I had spilled on it and wanted it changed. They put it back on the pillow! Over all I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
