This cabin utilizes a well for water. Well water is filtered and safe for drinking and bathing. Guests are welcome to bring their own drinking water if they prefer.

A nice quiet, cute, clean cabin in the woods. We saw deer and lots of turkey on the property. The weather was chilly so we really got to enjoy the hot tub! Loved the privacy of the location.
This place is right in red river gorge, I loved it! This is the best place to stay if you want to hike, relax and be away from modern life. Out of all the places at RRG this is the cheapest and also provides everything you need.
If you have kids or a dog the yard is perfect! Very secluded, awesome fire pit and even a tire swing! Close to many trail heads in Daniel Boone National Forest and not a very long drive to National Bridge State Park!
Loved seeing the deer at the river in the mornings while sitting on the porch drinking coffee! Great place to unwind. Hot tub was a plus. Thanks for everything!
My partner and I came here for our anniversary celebration. We loved the rustic nature of the cabin! It was very enjoyable to spend the evenings cooking our own meals and sitting by the campfire. We did see a little mouse friend in the kitchen, but we just washed all dishes before using them and he left us alone. The owner was great with responding to messages too!
This cabin was the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life! It was the peace and relaxation that we desired for our anniversary getaway! The hot tub was a hit for sure on the cool
Fall evening and early morning coffee💕 From the hot tub, we had the perfect view when the Bald Eagle flew in and landed in the tree by the river. Hope to visit again. Thank you for sharing a little piece of your heaven!!
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location is farther down the road than the VRBO site shows. It worked well for us. Two of the days we hiked right near the cabin. It takes about a half hour in either direction to get to Slade. We loved relaxing back at the cabin after our adventures. It was very private and a great property. We didn't realize when we booked that there is no TV. We had technology with us so it worked out fine.
I loved the location of this cabin! It is so close to some of the best hikes in the Gorge area, yet it is so secluded! The cabin sits down a gravel road behind an electric gate. There are only two rentals in all of Pumpkin Bottom, but you are so far away from the other cabin that there is little chance that you will even know they are there. You can see the Red River from all sides of the yard and from the hot tub. My dogs and I absolutely loved our stay! The cabin had everything I was looking for and nothing I didn't need. I love that there was no TV, as the outdoor space was where I spent the majority of my time. Just sitting on the porch reading a book felt like magic!
Super cute property. Great for a secluded couples weekend. The hot tub was great, so was big yard with river access. Very close to several quick and easy hikes. Can’t wait to come back!
The cabin was well equipped, and in a safe gated area. We enjoyed our home base and packed lunches for kayaking and hiking by day. It was nice to have a gas grill to prepare meals at night. Unfortunately, the red river was too low to kayak because it ran right through the property
I stayed here to get away and do taxes. I was able to prepare meals, use the Internet, and even visit Natural Bridge. It was a lovely stay. Wish I could’ve stayed longer.
The cabin was very nice. Lots of games to play were available. There is a nice river to look at. But we all wished they would have cut the weeds down to see it better. Unfortunately, I got poison oak climbing down to the river, so stay out of the weeds! The hot tub was very nice, and we enjoyed using the fire pit
The location was great...very close to amazing trails, and not far from the town of Slade! Hosts were very responsive to texts and quick to resolve anything we needed.Comfy beds, nice hot tub.The one thing I will say was a con for us was the small bathroom. We are tall and had to side sit the toilet to be able to use it. Shower was also harder to move around in. There was also mold forming on air vents and surrounding ceiling, which I told host about and they said they would resolve.
