"First place at the cost per day made me question if I should investigate further... Also, being some 6-miles east of Truckee made me wonder if that would cause us some second thoughts... Nothing could be farther than what this property offered.The Cost was very, very spot on - - especially for the family of 12 that I had... The 4-Bedrooms... spotless property ,, unbelievably well appointed and so easy to get to from Highway 80...The communication as helpfulness of the property owner was beyond my experience in renting homes and/or cabin - - via VRBO both here in the USA as well as in Europe...My advise to the next renter - - Know that this was a true jewel of a rental.P. Story"

"The property is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood about 15 min from downtown Truckee. It worked perfectly for hosting the grandparents for my son's wedding. It is close to ski resorts as well as the Reno Airport. Kristin answered all my questions during the months leading up to the wedding. The ability to use the garage was an added plus."

"We had a great week-long stay at this wonderful house. It is nestled in a lovely wooded area so you have tons of privacy while only a very short drive to Truckee. The house has everything you need: kitchen well equipped, nice linens and comfortable beds, and two desks for remote working. The house has lots of light and we were more than comfortable with 3 in the house. Tahoe Signature Properties responded right away if we had any questions. Highly recommend this home for time away. We look forward to staying here again."

"We had such a great time staying at Dan’s house! Location is perfect to the mountains and we loved the wood burning stove that kept the house warm all winter. My dog loved the fenced in backyard and great places to hike/walk in the neighborhood. Dan is easy to communicate with and fixes anything we needed so quickly. Would stay again this house has everything! "

Sage Hen at Grays Crossing - Gorgeous 4BR 4BA Home w/ Private Hot Tub

"Perfect house for our group! The house itself was great - had everything we needed, and the layout worked well for our group of 10 (4 adults / 6 kids). Gray's Crossing is a very nice community and it's close to downtown Truckee and all the dining and shops that we usually visit. Minus 1-star because of some of the issues encountered during our stay. Downsides during our 4-night stay: 1) no hot water for the sink in the second king bathroom on first floor 2) water trickled out in the sink, almost no flow 3) upstairs sink in the kids' bathroom was clogged 4) wad of hair in the shower upstairs 5) dead rat found under the bed in the second king bedroom. I did reach out to the property management company the morning after we checked in to discuss the issues regarding the clogged sink (we pulled it up - totally covered in gunk), the very low water pressure, almost no flow in the second king bathroom and no hot water. A plumber came out to fix the issues and was able to get them resolved. I also let them know about the wad of long hair in the shower my husband found when he was about to take a shower. The last night of our stay the kids were playing hide and seek and found a dead rat under the bed I was sleeping on. Took pictures, called the property management company and let them know about it, also texted the pictures. One of the guys pulled the sticky rat/mouse trap out from under the bed and threw it out in the garbage (because I was not about to touch it!). Finally, the house could use a new set of knives. I noticed there were only 3 knives in the wood block in the kitchen. The rest of the knives (6+) were missing. As we were cooking breakfast each morning and some days lunch, we could have used more."
