"This hotel was very interesting. I didn’t realize I was staying in a cabin, or a “nest” as they call it, until I actually saw it. My double bed room was small enough for one person, so I can’t imagine what a single room looks like. However, for the price I paid in London during high season, it was definitely worth it. Everything is digital. After making your reservation, you receive several emails with steps to get a QR code, which you’ll need to access pretty much everything. If your phone dies, you might be in a bit of trouble, although there always seemed to be an employee on duty. I hadn’t seen the emails while flying, so my check in took about 30 minutes until I completed all the steps. The room feels like a small ship cabin, but I had a very comfortable night of sleep. I didn’t hear any noise from my neighbors and slept very well. The bathrooms are shared, similar to a nice gym. Everything was very clean, you barely bump into other people, and it still feels private. There isn’t much space for luggage, but they offer lockers, so you can just bring what you need into your room. The location is a huge plus, right in the heart of Soho. For young or adventurous travelers, this can be a great option!"

"From arrival to departure the hotel staff were excellent - informative, helpful, cheerful with a can do attitude. The public areas of the hotel were consistently clean and very well maintained. Our room was lovely - well equipped with everything we needed for our two night stay. Toiletries, towels and bed linen were first class. The air conditioning and window blinds made for a very comfortable nights sleep. The hotel location, overlooking the Tower of London and adjacent to a great transport hub allowed for easy exploration of the city. Will certainly return."

Vintry & Mercer Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

10/10 Excellent
"Vintry & Mercer was exactly what we wanted for a quiet weekend in London. Our Deluxe room was exceptionally clean, very quiet, with a comfortable bed and excellent water pressure. The location is great if you want a peaceful base in the City, although it’s not the place to stay if you want nightlife right outside the door. We had a drink at the rooftop bar when we arrived. Service was very good, although the space was quite crowded. The real standout was Hamid. He saw us come in with a bottle of wine and, without us even asking, brought us wine glasses and an ice bucket. It was a small gesture, but exactly the sort of thoughtful, attentive service that makes a hotel memorable. We’d happily stay again."
