"I am deeply disappointed with my stay at the Radisson Blu Wroclaw. For a 5-star property, the experience was sub-standard, and I will not be returning.
Upon arrival, I was assigned an unrequested accessible room. When I questioned this, the front desk staff were dismissive, offering a "take it or leave it" attitude because the hotel was full. This set a very poor tone. The room itself suffered from obvious maintenance and quality control failures: the shower rail was loose and repeatedly fell off, the number '8' on the safe was broken (making it completely untrustworthy), and it lacked standard 5-star amenities like a shaving mirror.
I chose not to raise these issues on-site because the initial check-in process was so laborious and unwelcoming. I had no desire to waste my personal time highlighting their deficiencies, nor did I want the intrusion of maintenance staff in my room to fix things that should have been checked before my arrival.
Both check-in and check-out were tedious and slow. The entire experience left such a bad taste that I actively avoided using any hotel facilities. I didn't spend a penny in the hotel, choosing instead to get up and leave first thing every morning to spend my time and money in Wrocław. A 5-star hotel should not rely on its guests to act as maintenance inspectors. Far from a luxury experience."
