OTR paradise

Where friendly place. Quite and convenient. Ample parking event for bobtail. Parking for a set, too. Be Rookies with great food. Step up italian restaurant. Excellent deserts.or quite very good pizza. All walking distance.

Sleep Inn St Louis

The room was comfortable. The shower was a bit wonky to turn on but we figured it out eventually. Beds were comfortable. The location was a bit noisy until traffic died down.

I spent four nights there. It wasn't horrible and wasn't complement worthy either. Breakfast was ok, staff were polite. The wifi sucked, no room service , weak water flow in shower, some breakfast items were days old. It required a security deposit of $100, which was not disclosed clearly or at all during reservation. When I asked for receipt, I was told since it was booked thru Hotels.com, my receipt will.be issued through the booking website. I won't recommend it for more than $65/night.

The hotel wasn’t maintained good at all my sheets had stains on it the lobby looked like they haven’t vacuumed in weeks the rooms were nice size that’s about all it had going for it and the soda machine had expired soda in it

Serviceable Motel

I was in town on business. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. The only issue was the swimming pool. It was ice cold other than that, it served its purpose.

It was pretty clean. I did notice there was much needed upkeep that it needed with some tlc. The toilet paper holder was vroke off the wall and there was a couple of patches missing out of the carpet.

It was a great stay we only stayed for 1 night, it was clean didn't see any bugs. I have no issues with carper, but wife hates rooms with carpet, she was fine with this carpet becauseshe said it looked clean!! Newtown throwdown location was only 2 miles away and that was was a convenience.. will stay next year for event again!! Easy check in no hassles!! Appreciate you guys !!

Not a great place to stay

Great staff. Nice size rooms, great shower but was missing a bathroom door. As soon as I cut the lights off to go to sleep roaches started appearing everywhere.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at!!!

Absolutely terrible! From the entrance of the hotel to the bathroom and bed bugs to the service. I don’t recommend this hotel to absolutely nobody. The only good thing about it is its central location to dining and gas stations.

The girl at the front desk had a hard time understanding my needs. Our shower was dirty, and I needed cleaner to sanitize. She finally found some bathroom and a rag for me. In the room, the towel holder was ripped out of the wall and sitting on the counter. There was black in the clear caulking they had used in the shower. The beds were comfortable, and everything worked. One male employee was extremely helpful in helping with our trailer and tying up some wires.

The hotel doesn’t appear to cool their main areas, the lobby, elevator and hallways were hot/humid and stuffy. Because it’s summer, this made those areas smell musty. The room was initially fine, the room air was cool with comfortable beds. The shower handle was broken so the staff had to come and mess with the handle to get the shower turned on. The hairdryer did not work at all.

Choose this for convenience, cost and breakfast. It was convenient and cost was lower but lacked cleanliness and a decent breakfast. Bed was comfortable but tiles and kick plate around door was falling off and looked quite dirty. The toilet was loose and tipped when seating. Elevator wall was dusty and finger prints everywhere. Ice machine was broken on 3rd floor. Yogurt for breakfasst was expired and bagels stale.

Breakfast room was very dirty. Had pieces of cardboard over trash cans to keep flies out. Food was gross. Lobby, hallways, & rooms were very dark. Carpets were very run down and dingy. The air conditioner barely worked. The water dropped in the tub all night. Could hear people walking back and forth all night. The only pool we saw was the outside one which was out of order. Didn't see any signage for the indoor pool so we didn't get to swim. The staff was very friendly.

The check In process was good, no troubles but our room had a burnt out bulb at the switch closest to the door so it was hard to find the other light options in the dark. The shower stall was definitely not clean, black debris around where the door hinges. The shower water took an inordinate amount of time to heat, like five full minutes. The heat/air/fan system is antiquated and noisy. The in room fridge was loud as well and the shelves had rust on them, however it was functional. The towels were fine but oddly for a hotel, different colours and textures. The AM breakfast was very basic but the waffles made my daughter happy. I was kind of skeeved out that rather than empty either garbage can in the breakfast area, a piece of cardboard was placed over the opening; it was definitely smelling like old garbage so perhaps it’d been there for more than one night. The front desk clerk was the same at check in and out and he was very friendly and able to answer any questions I had about the 100$ deposit required for rooms booked through a third party.

Staff was very nice and polite and quite helpful with my issues, however the room itself wasn't the most clean, I had a bit of troubles with the vending machine (didn't work and had to be refunded) and the required deposit I had to make because of I paid through a third party (which I got back little under a week later), the road was riddled with potholes, and the breakfast wasn't very appealing with both the beverage machines being out of order and even a cockroach scuddled out of one when I tried to operate it (again no out of order sign same as the vending machine). I also had to re-activate my room card twice as they weren't working on my lock, but again the staff made sure it helps me out as quick as possible and respectfully as possible so props to the staff that work at this facility that does need a lot of improvements in quality.

We booked this due to location, reputation and cost. First yellow flag was no sign on street directing us to hotel. Second yellow flag was condition of drive to hotel - full of pot holes. Third concern was outside condition of entry - disrepair. Forth was offensive odor as soon as walked in building, which continued through all of building including room. Fifth was pool was not operational though said it would be working next day. Sixth was overall feeling of uncleanliness, gave me concern even in touching things and I am not usually concerned about this. Had 4 nights booked there. After checking in and moving into room and then out for a bit, when returning to room decided this is too offensive for more than one night, we had to find someplace else. Last comment was evening manager was Indian decent and was very friendly and helpful, wanted to give us another room but it was extremely hard to understand his English. Not his fault - he did everything he could but we could not stay there. Will try to get some refund, I am doubtful but we will see.

the overpass would be better

IF your looking for a clean lobby and room, comfortable beds and pillows, nice hot showers. keep looking else where. the fridge had left over food from someone else. the photos on Hotel.com are misleading. the hotel is dark and more depressing than your emo phase from high school. it had a musty stale smell in the lobby and the room. the bathroom tub water leaked after you it was turned on and just didn't want to stop tricking over night. at 6AM there was no not water to be had after 10 mins of letting it run. the pillow cases had stains on all 4 of them. the bed cover had the fabric pills that are on your old socks and were just old and gross. the bed was nice and supportive for my back. wasn't the easiest place to get into from the road. its very close to the highway exit jut hard to find the way in at night
