"We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with polite friendly staff. My husband had a suggestion for Scottish beer to be sold in the bar. We enjoyed our stay."

"We were a couple traveling from the United States, both in our later 50s. We ended up not staying in the room. After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects. The lodging is on a very busy street in Elgin. The room itself was very nice and clean, so for a solo traveler, or perhaps anyone younger than us, this may have been the perfect stay. It had a shared kitchen and laundry, which was what we were looking forward to. Unfortunately, itjust wasn’t suitable for our age and the needs that we have."
