"The hotel is wonderfully located right beside the river, very close to nature. It is very quaint and room was very clean. "Good Location easy access to motorway and walkable to town centre in 5/10 minutes which has some lovely restaurants, Good power shower. Nice outside space and secure gated parking on site.

Very strange Bar payment system having to collect tokens from reception to pay for any drinks in bags of €20 euro. Drinks 8 euro for half litre beer. "We really enjoyed our stay here, driving up felt like entering the set of Downton Abby!! We stayed in one of the side apartments - it was so beautiful and we loved the walking path near by. The down side is that we didn't get sheets or towels provided, (also no hand soap!) By the time we noticed, the staff had already left for the evening. Luckily we had some of our own bedding, There had been some discussion about sheets during check in, but there must clearly have been a misunderstanding. Anyway, it was still a lovely stay, and definitely makes for a funny story. I definitely recommend, but be prepared"
