"The room was very functional, mostly clean and well stocked, and had the side view of water and beach I had reserved. The carpet in the room and hallway was fine except for stains that it seems no one was bothering to get out. Two lamps didn't seem to work at all. I discovered in the morning that the door would not fully shut. That didn't present a problem when I was in the room - I had a deadbolt that did set. It seems like a new lining in the door was preventing the door latch from fully extending and locking. During the day, house staff apparently did something that allowed them to shut the door. When I tried it myself in the evening I could with great difficulty fully shut the door - but in the morning even that was impossible. This kind of thing happens but the lackadaisical solution did not inspire confidence."

The desk staff was not pleasant and gave attitude after causing the error when I brought it to their attention. The only helpful Preston was the Manager on Sunday Morning when I checked out as she had to correct their mistakes."
