"Our stay at Villa D’Irene was wonderful. My husband and I stayed 2 nights. The host, George, was a pleasure to deal with - friendly, helpful, great communication. He arranged a transfer from and to the airport for us and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and eat nearby. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable with views to the sea and mountain, and within walking distance to beach, restaurants, grocery store, and the best bakery ever! We wished we could stay longer to try all the delicious looking cakes and pastries. The onsite pool was lovely and great to cool off in after our long flight to Athens. The proximity to the airport is great, very handy if you’re in between flights. The area is like a traditional Greek village and the main strip and beach filled with locals, rather than tourists. Wonderful beach front eateries and beach with great food and comfy sunbeds close by. Highly recommend a stay at Villa D’Irene and we would definately return for a longer stay next time."

"We arrived late in the evening and received a very warm welcome at the 24 hour reception. The mattress was super comfortable. We started the day with a dip in the sea then enjoyed an excellent buffet breakfast. Very content with our stay, thank you."

"It is an old building and well maintained. Beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed the warmth of the staff, There is a restaurant on site which is convenient, just make sure you know and ask for pictures of the dish you ask for, greek chefs prepare food differently. If in doubt, stick to the greek salad, its delicious. Breakfast was very pleasant and complete. There is a beach close by. Don't miss going there. Price was accordingly."

"It's a great place for one or two nights when you have to get to the airport early in the morning. Good luck catching a taxi from the Rafina port though. The drivers refuse to accept the ride due to the places's short proximity to the port. Most drivers prefer higher yielding rides to either Athens city center or the airport. I'd recommend pre arranging a ride through the hotel to make sure you don't get stuck at the port at night."
