Nice hotel on a wonderful island

Spetses Hotel offers a comfortable stay with a convenient beachfront location. The staff are helpful, and the rooms are well-maintained. Breakfast provides a good selection with pleasant views. It's a solid choice for a visit to Spetses.

The staff were polite and welcoming! We were glad to have transportation to the hotel. Upon arrival we were given an upgrade to a full ocean view, which we were grateful for the change.

Spetses Hotel was amazing!!! Our room was incredibly clean with all the necessary amenities and the view was spectacular. We went during May which is their off season so it was daily quiet, perfect for some R&R. The hotel staff were so friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Due to the fact that it was quiet we got table service instead of a buffet style breakfast and the food was quick and delicious. 10/10 would stay here again. Spetses as an island is small but one of the best Greek Islands I’ve been to so far. Come with your partner or family as it is not a party island. It’s romantic, quaint and scenic.

Great sea view

Great view on sea, town and harbour. Restaurant area has great views too. Beach area is without beach but easy stairs to enter the sea, great swimming, but less for kids. Good food in beach bar. We had a pleasant stay.

The hotel is nicely situated away from the port but very accessible via walking. The "pool" is actually the sea with stairs leading in to the water from comfortable lounge chairs. Even the rooms that said partial seaview had a lovely view of the water and island villas. It has ver courteous staff that were helpful in getting various taxi services or reservations during a busy holiday weekend.

The staff is fantastic . The food is so good . Rooms are very clean . The only thing is the air conditioner in room was on the weaker side with power. But other than that would go back again !

Property was pretty but terrible smell in room that smelled like sewer gas. Unfortunately, happened on a daily basis and front desk did not address except to let us know that he had checked it out and that we were mistaken. Provided late check out which was nice, but charged us for first night even though we didn’t stay because of a missed ferry to the island. Overall feeling, I would not go back and will stay on the beautiful island of Spetses again but at a different property!

Absolutely not a 4 star hotel

I stayed here recently for 1 night. Safe to say this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in in Greece. The service was awful. We asked for an extra key on check-in for the light and they denied us - because they don't want to spend any money on A/C if people aren't in the room. Also - there was water in the fridge which we assumed was complimentary, with a note saying you have to pay for it. 😅 Which was awful - especially as the tap water is not drinkable. Did I mention no phone chargers next to the beds? And there was a huge gap between the beds that they put together? The room fittings are from the 1980s and have not been updated since. Save your good money and go elsewhere - don't stay here.

I stayed in July for 3 nights. Overall the stay was great. The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected but the view was better (I had booked a partial sea view but it seemed to be a full sea view). The staff were helpful and the free transport to and from the port made the trip super easy. The location is also great - about a 10-15 min walk from everything at the center, but really pretty.

The hotel’s location is fantastic and that’s what you pay for. The room was comfortable but a bit small and has carpeted floor (despite high humidity levels on the island). Check-in was super easy and there’s a free shuttle to and from the port which is great. The staff were friendly and you can’t beat having the water and lounge chairs just steps away! Would stay again.
