Top Southeastern Michigan Hotel Reviews
Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, a Wyndham Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Check in and out was very easy!! Jazz at the front desk was amazing!!!! Very personable and helpful! Overall really clean and nice place to stay! We had an amazing view looking over the water as well."
MGM Grand Detroit
10/10 Excellent
"Staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my stay and was aware of all of the amenities available to me."
Atheneum Suite Hotel
8/10 Good
"While the lobby, halls and common spaces look great, the room was a little tired. Cheap furniture, fixtures and finishes on the 25 year old construction take away from a nice experience. Staff are generally pleasant, but the bell hop was the only one showing some charm and enthusiasm. The shuttle was not a convenience as we were told to expect up to 15 minutes, we waited 20+ minutes and could have walked to our destination. The driver was having a bad day (week?). Overall, sure it's nice, but not as great as the cost implies."
Radisson Hotel Detroit Metro Airport

"The guy up front was awesome. I came in on an early flight and he accomodated me with a room early and was very friendly."
MotorCity Casino Hotel
8/10 Good
"I returned to Detroit after attending a conference there 20 years ago when I swore I would never return to Detroit. This time I was there for a private event. When I arrived at the Motor City, I immediately noticed that it smelled great (similar to the VDARA in Las Vegas). The casino was a non-smoking casino but had a smoking section that did not infiltrate the rest of the casino. The rooms were dated and the housekeeping wasn't that great but the food, to include the banquet food, Joe Lewis' restaurant and the Coney Dog airport food was really good. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the people of Detroit were REALLY, REALLY NICE and professional. From the airline staff at the airport, to the UBER drivers, the restaurant staff (on and off of the Motor City property), and the Motor City staff themselves were REALLY, REALLY NICE. I have travelled a lot, in and out of the country, and have never been treated so well! Because of that, I was able to overlook the not-so-appealing aspects of the trip. I had a good time. THANK YOU DETROIT!"
