Westers Lane. The bank of stitchwort and bluebells was superb, despite May being four days away. This photograph 170569 was taken from almost exactly the same vantage point in 2006, but almost three weeks (19 days) later, an indication that April 2007 has been the warmest April - by a country mile - on record.

South Warnborough from Westers Lane. About half a mile south of South Warnborough, Westers Lane (a green lane) leaves the B3349 for Humbly Grove. This is taken from the lane, looking north north-east and showing South Warnborough in the middleground, the masts of RAF Odiham in the distance. In May, the orchids beside the lane are spectacular.
